Winter Pool Party

In some states where the winter is mild having a holiday pool party is not uncommon. Last year on Christmas Eve, much of Texas saw yuletide temperatures reach into the high eighties and even nineties! Now, that’s the perfect weather for a holiday pool party! In warmer states like Arizona, California, Florida or Georgia Christmas is a great time to bring your family together outside, around the pool for hot cocoa and carols.

You can sit around the fire pit or rent some heaters to keep you warm. Decorate the nearby trees and bushes with oversize Christmas ornaments and lights. Don’t forget about the holiday cookies and mistletoe. It might be too cold to swim but if you have a hot Jacuzzi nothing can be more fun than to spend your Christmas even outside in a wonderfully decorated backyard.

Christmas is a family holiday and no one wants the most wonderful time of the year to end badly. You should make sure that your pool is protected by a safety fence. A pool fence with a self-closing gate will keep children safe while not interfering with the aesthetic beauty of your pool and surrounding landscape.
