Original Pool Fence

The Original Pool Fence System By Guardian

Guardian’s Original Pool Fence System is not the same mesh fence that was initially introduced in 1995. As a dedicated innovator, our CEO consistently seeks opportunities to enhance our product offerings. Throughout the years, we have implemented various improvements to enhance the strength, quality, and safety of our mesh pool fences, focusing on the gate, mesh, and pole structure. It is with great pride that we manufacture the finest mesh pool fences available in our industry.

Why is it labeled as “Original”?

original pool fence

The designation is based on the size of the deck hole. Our Original Pool Fence Pole necessitates a 1 ¼” diameter deck hole. This particular dimension has been the widely accepted standard across the industry since the early days of mesh pool fence production.

If your deck already has existing fence holes, chances are it will be compatible with our Original Pool Fence.

If you prefer a different size for deck holes, we also offer our Premier Pool Fence , which requires a 3/8″ deck hole, and our No Holes Pool Fence that does not require any drilling. For more information, please refer to the relevant sections.

Precision Drilling

Regardless of the size of the hole you select, the deck area surrounding your fence will retain its immaculate appearance. Our team uses diamond-core bits to accurately drill holes in masonry surfaces, ensuring there is no chipping or cracking on your pool deck. Our fences and gates can be seamlessly installed on wood decks or in your lawn and planter area. Please feel free to reach out to us to arrange your free in-home estimate.

Safest Mesh Gate in the Industry

Upon opening our doors, we began the re-engineering process for our gate. Our previous design relied on a crossbar for gate tension, but we found it to create a weak point on our fence that did not meet our safety standards. While the possibility was unlikely, we determined that a fence with a crossbar could potentially provide enough support for a determined child to climb over. We believed that taking any chance, however small, would be compromising on safety. In collaboration with a mechanical engineer, we redesigned our gate to incorporate two round poles on each side, along with welded gussets at each corner, to ensure enhanced strength and durability. Our gate tension is now regulated by two secured trusses on either side, which can be easily adjusted by an adult. Despite the absence of a crossbar, our gate remains resilient and resistant to collapse, even when subjected to weight applied on the top. It is worth noting that our mesh gate boasts self-closing and self-latching mechanisms, along with a key lock function, making it the only truly climb-resistant mesh gate available.

“Y” Is Stronger than “X”

During the early years of the mesh pool fence industry, we observed a prevailing practice where high-quality fence poles were reinforced with an internal “X” frame to enhance strength. As industry pioneers, we embraced this standard and incorporated it into the initial models of our pool fence. However, our pursuit of continuous improvement led to the discovery of an even stronger alternative.

Given the long-standing credibility of the “X” pole, transitioning to a new pole design was not a decision taken lightly. When an engineer approached our esteemed CEO with the revelation that the “Y” frame offered superior strength, our CEO, true to his commitment to excellence, requested empirical evidence to support this claim. Through rigorous calculations and equations, the engineer incontrovertibly demonstrated that an extruded aluminum pole with a “Y” frame vastly outperforms the existing “X” pole. With unwavering dedication to safety, we promptly implemented this remarkable enhancement. It is indeed perplexing why other pool fence companies persist with the outdated “X” pole.

Rest assured, our unwavering commitment to safety and relentless pursuit of technological advancements ensure that we provide you with the most reliable and cutting-edge pool fence solutions in the market.

The Superior Removable Mesh Pool Gate

All Guardian Pool Gates Are Climb-Resistant, Self-Closing, Self-Latching, and Key-Lockable

Guardian Pool Gates offer a comprehensive set of features to enhance safety and convenience. Our mesh gates are designed with the utmost care, incorporating patented climb-resistant technology, self-closing mechanisms, self-latching capability, and key-lockable functionality.

Climb-Resistant: Our innovative engineering eliminates the need for a crossbar, greatly reducing the risk of children climbing over the gate. The absence of a crossbar provides no leverage for climbing, while our gate’s trusses, crafted from 6061 marine grade aluminum, ensure optimal tension control. For added customization, the trusses are available in various powder-coated colors to match your pool fence.

Self-Closing: We exclusively utilize Tru-Close hinges, renowned for their reliability and self-closing performance. These hinges are equipped with stainless steel torsion springs, coated with UV-Stabilized materials, and resistant to binding, sagging, and staining. Simple adjustments can be made with a screwdriver, and our hinges include a 100% Rust-Free For Life guarantee.

Self-Latching: Addressing the critical need for pool safety, our gates feature MagnaLatch Safety Gate Latches. These latches are specially designed for securing gates around swimming pools, yards, and child care centers. Combined with our self-closing Tru-Close hinges, the latches adhere to child safety codes, automatically magnetically latching the gate. Additionally, the latch is key-lockable and backed by a limited lifetime warranty. MagnaLatch remains the original and continues to be the best-selling magnetic latch worldwide.

LOCKING MECHANISM:

Hooks And Eyes

All Guardian Pool Fence Systems utilize 304 stainless steel hooks and eyes. For dark colored poles, we use BLACK TEFLON coated stainless steel hooks & eyes, while stainless steel finished hooks and eyes are employed for light colored poles. The coating of our hooks and eyes are purely for aesthetic purposes. Rest assured, our Teflon color coat is resistant to peeling.

Padlocks

Our padlocks are constructed with high-quality solid brass and feature a sturdy brass shackle. They are an essential security measure to deter unauthorized removal of the fence. By locking adjoining fence panels with these padlocks, a key is required for fence removal. On average, a pool fence typically requires 10 to 15 padlocks for optimal security.
