The Ultimate Pet Fence
If you want the ultimate Pet Fence then look no further. It took us years or
research and many tries to get it right but we believe that we have today the
best Pet Fence you can find anywhere on Earth!
Not all Pet Fences are the same and our Guardian Pet Fence is no exception!

(This is our 5 foot tall black mesh fence. Because this 60 pound Aussie
couldn't reach the top border material, she could not penetrate this system. Her
claws scratched at the mesh until she was worn out without damaging the mesh!)
In 2002, at a fabric trade show, we found what seemed to be a perfect
mesh for pet pool fencing. We tried it out at a kennel. It worked! We
then started to produce a new pet pool fence only to find out that the
mesh we thought would work ... didn't. This started a search that has led us
through dozens of mesh materials with one failure after another.
In 2005, we were shown a video by a manufacturer that showed dogs trying to get
though a mesh fabric. We tried the material, but it too turned out not to be as
resistant to pets as we required. But the way the mesh was constructed gave us
a new direction in our search for
a mesh for pet pool fencing that we would be comfortable with.
Today, we offer two different pet mesh materials that have proved quite tough:
Standard
Pet Mesh Fence
If you have a pet that is not particularly aggressive, we recommend our black
polyester mesh, which we spent five years working on. The holes in this mesh are
very small. Pets find it very difficult to claw through this mesh because
their claws are too large to fit into the mesh material. This mesh is very tough
but also see-through.
Wire Pet
Mesh Fence
If you have an aggressive pet that claws and chews, go with our wire pet mesh.
It has a border material sewn onto the outer edges. The mesh is small enough to
prevent claws and teeth from putting a hole in the fabric. This wire mesh
fencing is available in 48" height only. The
wire pet fence must be
installed
a MINIMUM of 60 inches from the edge of a pool or spa in order to comply
with National Electrical Codes.
Pet Fence
poles
We needed a pole that a large pet couldn't break. Our first pet fencing used the
same pole we used on our
Original pool safety fence. This worked very well until the larger animals
started jumping on the fence. Eventually, these aluminum poles cracked from
metal fatigue. When we switched over to Guardian's Premier Pole we realized that
even the largest of animals couldn't cause the
pole to break!
Now when we ship this pet fencing system we believe that there is
no equal anywhere on the planet! The Guardian Pet Fence Systems are
truly unique to the pet fence industry.
Plus, you can take the pet pool fence down and put it back up whenever
you want. This is our 5 foot tall black mesh fence. Because this 60 pound Aussie
couldn't reach the top border material, she could not penetrate this system. Her
claws scratched at the mesh until she was worn out without damaging the mesh!
SELF CLOSING GATE:
Galvanized
steel frame coated in plastic. This gate is self latching, key
lockable and REMOVABLE.
GATE HARDWARE:
Latch:
The only latch we use is
MAGNA LATCH.
It operates magnetically and is key lockable. Every gate we have shipped since
we went into manufacturing uses MAGNA LATCH for its latching mechanism.
Hinges: The same company
that produces the MAGNA LATCH
produces the TRU-CLOSE
hinges. These hinges are tension adjustable and are constructed with
Stainless steel springs.
POLES:
All poles are constructed
with T6 marine grade aluminum. The stainless steel pin is 304 stainless
steel and the reducer bushing that is inside the aluminum pole is PVC.
POLE SPACING:
most pet fencing to date has been constructed with 36" pole spacing. If a
customer requests 30" pole spacing we would be happy to accommodate the request.
SCREWS &
HARDWARE:
All Guardian screws and
hardware are made from stainless steel.
SLEEVES:
Each stainless pin fits
into a plastic sleeve made of HDPE.
HOOKS & EYES:
All hooks and eyes are
made from 304 stainless steel. Our black colored hooks & eyes are the same
304 stainless steel and they are coated in Teflon.
