 This photo was taken in 1997 at about the time we were told by our patent lawyer that our company was going to receive a US Patent for the design of our removable, self-closing gate. It has become Guardian's most published photograph.
Over the years, many improvements have been made on our fencing system. These changes have occured as we have found better materials for the parts that make up our product line and/or design changes that strengthen and improve our products.
We are constantly seeking ways to make our fence better and we have accomplished it part by part.
However, our basic gate design has remained the same. To date, we have not been able to improve on the original design of our PATENTED GATE!
We now understand the expression if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
